The Trans’Ardèche is a multi–day MTB ride that crosses the Ardèche Mountains from north to south.
Emerging from the Eyrieux valley, enter the land of volcanic mountains where the range’s highest summit stands: Mont Mézenc. A visit to the source of the Loire River at the foot of the famous Mont Gerbier de Jonc gives this MTB adventure an emblematic feel, crossing the department from volcanic ridge in the north to limestone plateaux in the south. This crossing features the most remote and wild parts of the Ardèche Mountains Regional Nature Reserve. The route ends at the Ardèche River Gorges nature reserve, culminating in a stunning view over the monumental rock arch of the Pont d’Arc.
This bike ride gives you the chance to explore the diversity and riches of the Ardèche Mountains by MTB, in total harmony with this beautiful natural setting
